Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 19)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Look for just a little bit of cooling today as the broad trough along the west coast sags just a bit.
The pressure gradients are tightening as well. That means it is going to be gusty below the passes and canyons.
There is a wind advisory in place for the Antelope Valley and the Mountains of LA, Ventura, and Santa Barbara County. With the winds and the dry vegetation, the NWS service has issued a Red Flag Warning through tomorrow morning.
We will see similar weather tomorrow. As we make our way into the weekend, look for a gradual warm up.
Right now the long range forecast models are showing off a more significant warm up by the middle of next week, possible close to triple digit heat in the valley.
