Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (July 1)
STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — We still remain in this somewhat stagnate pattern. Clouds were well entrenched this morning, but the sun is finally shining.
Look for another day with warm temperatures inland and comfortable conditions along the coast. The high pressure responsible for this weather pattern is drifting to the east slightly, but it is having very little effect on any major changes to the forecast.
Look for the marine layer to thin out a bit as we head into the holiday and the weekend. That may bring temperatures up slightly for the valleys.
It will continue to be quite warm for the high desert in our extended future.
By the way, Tuesday is the first day of the new water year. We ended up with just over 6 inches of rain for the last season making this one of the drier years on record. We are hoping a brewing El Nino will help us for the next season.
