Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (January 3)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The upper level low responsible for our wet weather is moving east slowly through the viewing area.

Expect showers and unsettled weather through the day. They will be scattered and light, but snow levels will be quite low.

Expect snow to 2000' and even down as low as 1500' in some spots near the Santa Clarita Valley.

There is a Winter Storm Warning for our mountain communities.

Even if you don't have wet weather out your day... it's going to be a cool, blustery day... temperatures will top out in the low to mid 50s.

Another cut-off low hanging behind this system will keep us cloudy and cool through the work week. By next weekend high pressure builds in and we could finally get some warmer weather.
