Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 14)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Very little change in the short term as the upper level high pressure that continues to dominate our weather is still hanging off the west coast. That feature combined with a surface high in the Great Basin is encouraging the off-shore flow that is bringing gusty winds and high fire danger.
Red Flag Warnings and High Wind Warnings are in effect through Wednesday, however the atmospheric setup on Thursday will warrant some kind of fire weather advisory. Some of the wind component may be lost, but the flow will still be off-shore and relative humidity levels should be in critical territory.
A subtle cool down will take place over the weekend as the high pressure breaks down. Temps will top out in the low to mid 70s on Saturday then an off-shore flow kicks in again on Monday, meaning warmer temperatures again.

Beaches - low 80s
Valleys - upper 70s to low 80s
Mountains - upper 50s to low 40s
Deserts - mid 60s
