Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (February 14)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Good morning and Happy Valentine's Day! Look for a chilly start, with a colder air mass moving in and overnight lows down just a bit.

Skies are clear in our valley areas, but there are still clouds up in our mountains, as well as a couple of stray snow showers.

Tuesday's system gave us only a trace of rainfall in most locations. We got about two inches of snow in the mountains.

There is another wave of energy moving through Wednesday that could give us some more scattered showers. However, like this last system, expect the totals to be very light.

Tuesday's highs will be slightly warmer than Monday's high of 59. We should hit into the low 60s.

Look for some gusty winds as the next system approaches. By Wednesday afternoon, the upper level low will move through our area in the same fashion this last system did.

We will see cooler temperatures, scattered showers, and possibly some low snow levels.

High pressure building behind this system will help to create some gusty winds. By the end of the week, our temperatures rebound back to normal levels. It should be nice Thursday through Saturday.

Beaches - low 60s

Basin - low 60s

Valleys - low 60s

Deserts - mid 50s

Mountains - mid 30s
