Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 9)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The cooler weekend continues ... with temperatures running just a touch below average.

We have been picking up little bits of drizzle here and there ... but not enough to even show up on our Doppler radar.

There is another cold front dropping into the area overnight and early tomorrow. However this is a weak front and it is washing out as it makes its trek through the area.

So again there is the slight chance for a little drizzle overnight and early tomorrow...but that's about it.

Temperatures won't change much either. The only byproduct of this front will be some gusty winds.

A wind advisory has been issued for most mountain communities in the viewing area. The advisory also includes Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and The Victor Valley. By Tuesday, a ridge builds into the Southwest and we will have warmer temperatures.

Those mild conditions will last through the beginning of next week.

Basin - mid 60s;
Beaches - low to mid 60s;
Valleys - mid to upper 60s;
Deserts - mid 60s;
Mountains - upper 40s.
