Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 30)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The mild holiday weather continues for Southern California thanks to an off-shore flow. With a little less upper-level support, the winds should relax some Monday. Temperatures will still be way above average into the upper 70s and low 80s.
While the red flag warning is set to expire at 10 a.m., the fire danger will be extremely high. Look for some cooler weather Tuesday with a little more on-shore flow.
There also may be the return of some patchy low clouds. By Thursday, some off-shore flow winds kick in again, making for a mild New Year's Day. It should be lovely for the Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl Game.
While the extended forecast will have some fluctuations up and down, temperatures will generally be above average through next week. In fact, we are still nine or 10 days away from any significant change in our weather pattern.
