Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 27)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The gusty winds we have experienced for the past couple of days are starting to wane.
The advisory has cancelled and the red flag warning is set to expire st 10 a.m.
Temperatures today will be a touch cooler than yesterday, but still well above average for this time of year. In fact, we should be in the upper 60s and we won't drop into the 60s for quite some time.
We will see temperatures drop into the low 70s as a short wave moves through the area on Saturday. There will be increased cloud cover, but that's it. No rain in the forecast.
As we make our way into the last few days of 2013, we will continue the dry trend and temps above average. We should hover in the mid 70s for most of next week.
While the red flag warnings will expire, this will be an increased stretch of high fire danger, because of the lack of rain.
