Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 2)

STUDIO CITY (CBS) — The worst is behind us this morning as the winds have relaxed overnight somewhat.

Areas around Southern California are left with a few gusts here and there. There are warnings still in effect for the Santa Clarita Valley and the Mountain areas. The rest of the viewing area is under a wind advisory.

Red Flag Warnings are still in effect through Friday. Otherwise temperatures will be similar to Thursday. An off-shore flow is still in effect so the fire danger remains high.

For the weekend, expect two more waves of energy that could bring some gusty winds on Saturday and Sunday. It is for this reason there is a wind advisory and a fire weather watch for the weekend. By Monday our weather settles down and warms up just a little bit.

Coastal -mid 60s
Basin - mid 60s
Valleys - mid 60s
Mountains - low 30s
Deserts - upper 50s
