Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 28)
STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Look for cooler temperatures Thursday as the off-shore flow weakens and the high pressure in the Pacific pulls back.
We should drop our daytime highs in most cases 6 to 8 degrees from Wednesday. A trough will dig into the Great Basin over the next 48 hours and that will give us some additional cooling on Friday. Daytime highs will top out in the low to mid 70s.
By the end of the weekend...another off-shore flow sets up and we are looking at a warm start to the next work week. Temps will bump back up into the upper 80s to near 90 in some cases. We will also see some gusty winds as we make our way into the weekend.
Coastal - upper 60s
Basin - low to mid 70s
Valleys - low 80s
Deserts - low 80s
Mountains - mid 60s
