Jerry Buss, 79, Remains In ICU At Cedar-Sinai Medical Center
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Jerry Buss' family says the Los Angeles Lakers owner is "doing fine" despite being hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
CBS2 News confirms Buss, 79, is suffering from an undisclosed form of cancer.
"He's doing fine. We just aren't going to make any comments on it. We've been dealing with this," his son Jim Buss said in a statement.
Since learning of his condition last year, former and current Laker greats such as Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol have all visited Buss.
