Items Stolen From Cars Await Owners In Van Nuys
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Stolen Betty Boop collectibles, leather bags, motorcycle helmets and car stereos are among the items police say belong to car break-in victims.
Police in Van Nuys arrested the car theft suspect, thanks to a description provided by a woman who caught the man and an accomplice trying to take the stereo and GPS system from her vehicle, which was parked in the 6400 block of Hazeltine.
Some of the recovered items have been matched to their owners, but others cannot be tracked and police want the items' owners to come and claim them.
Anyone who thinks their property may have been recovered can call Van Nuys detectives at (818) 374-0020.
