Items From Michael Jackson's Holmby Hills Estate Up For Auction
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Hundreds of items from Michael Jackson's estate, including the bed where he died, are being auctioned off.
The auction will be held on Dec. 17 at Julien's Auctionsin Beverly Hills.
In addition to the queen-size bed, other items include:
- A mirror where a handwritten note by Jackson said "train- perfection- March April May-- full out," as he geared himself up for his last- planned concert tour.
- Items in the medication room, where evidence was collected for the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray.
- Upholstered chairs smudged with Jackson's makeup.
A free public exhibition of some of the items up for auction will be held from Dec. 12 – 17.
Jackson's Holmby Hills home also for sale, but not as part of the upcoming auction.
