If You Want to Get Away with Murder, Don't Google This

The family that plots murder together, goes to jail together... especially, if they look to Google for answers. Today a British woman (unnamed, in accordance with British law, darn it. -Ed.) sits behind bars for 17 years, for trying to murder the man who adopted her. Three of his teenage grandkids and one of their girlfriends also are out of circulation for a while.
They wanted to off the old man. They failed, remarkably, even after doing extensive research online. To wit, they Googled the message above.
Also, they tried 'dangerous drugs for the elderly,' 'if you hit someone across the back of the head with a brick will they die?,' and my favorite: '10 easy ways to kill someone with no trace.' In the end, they smacked him in the head with bricks, but never underestimate the survival instincts of an 89 year old: he didn't die. He didn't give them an early shot at their inheritance. But he he did finger them for the crime.
