I-5 Crash Victims' Family Seeks Public's Help With Burial, Medical Costs
GORMAN (CBSLA.com) — The family of a mother and daughter who were killed in a car crash is asking for the public's help with burial costs, as well as medical care for four other family members who were critically injured.
LaTonya Grey, 42, and her 6-year-old daughter Leilani were killed when they were ejected from a Chevy Tahoe that overturned on Interstate 5 early Tuesday morning.
The crash, which happened just after 5 a.m., involved at least six vehicles, including a big rig.
The other four victims in the car — Grey's 65-year-old mother, Edith Sutton, and her 2, 12 and 16-year-old daughters — were air-lifted to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Anyone who wants to donate can contribute to the Grey Family Memorial Trust, which has been set up through Wells Fargo: routing number 121042882, account number 7246904408.
At least three other victims were also critically injured in the accident.
