Hundreds Of Philippines Airlines Passengers Still Stranded Days After Flight Aborted
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Hundreds of passengers are still waiting to get to Guam after a Philippines Airlines plane experienced tire trouble Thursday and authorities cancelled the flight.
Two days later, most of those passengers were still stuck at Los Angeles International Airport.
LAX Spokesman Marshall Lowe said six of the plane's tires deflated and the flight was aborted.
Passengers were transported to local hotels.
An airline spokesman said another flight is scheduled to leave Sunday, November 30, at 3 p.m.
