Hugh Hefner's Son Pleads No Contest To Domestic Violence Charge
PASADENA (CBS) — Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's 21-year-old son pleaded no contest Tuesday to a misdemeanor domestic violence charge involving his Playmate girlfriend.
Marston Hefner pleaded no contest to corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant, according to Assistant City Prosecutor Chris Blankenhorn in the Pasadena City Attorney's Office.
The charge stems from a Feb. 12 incident with 2011 "Playmate of the Year" Claire Sinclair at the couple's Pasadena home.
Pasadena police said Sinclair suffered minor injuries. She was issued an emergency restraining order against Hefner, who was arrested and later freed on $20,000 bail.
The younger Hefner is expected to undergo one year of domestic violence counseling, along with being ordered to stay away from the woman for three years, Blankenhorn said.
Sentencing is set June 12 in Pasadena Superior Court.
