#HotDebateGuy Identified As Rick Caruso's Son
(CBSLA.com) — As many people watched Wednesday night's Republican presidential debate, a handsome man seated behind the moderators apparently caught the public's eye. People have been asking online: Who is #HotDebateGuy?
It turns out he's Greg Caruso, a 24-year-old Los Angeles native and son of real estate magnate Rick Caruso, according to CNN. Rick Caruso is the billionaire behind upscale shopping centers The Grove in Los Angeles and The Americana in Glendale.
Caruso graduated from the University of Southern California where he studied filmmaking, according to the bio on his Vimeo page. He's currently working with four other film school grads on "Making the American Man," a documentary about American masculinity as told through the voices of small businesses geared towards the male demographic.
He also says, "I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot in my life with my family and feel I have a global appreciation for art, architecture, culture, and film in general."
But what many really want to know is if he has a girlfriend.
There were a few who vehemently disagreed with Caruso's "hotness" factor.
