Homes Threatened After Fire Breaks Out In Wildomar
WILDOMAR (CBSLA.com) — Homes and power lines were threatened by a fire that broke out in the city of Wildomar in Riverside County on Thursday.
Firefighters responded after the blaze was reported around 12:55 p.m. at the intersection of Wesley Street and Grand Avenue.
The fire was at three acres shortly after 1:20 p.m., according to sheriff's deputies. At least one structure was affected.
Sheriff's deputies began evacuating residents as fire crews made their way to the scene. As of 1:45 p.m., a temporary evacuation center was in the process of being set up, officials said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
