Armed Home-Invasion Robbers Steal Car, Wallet In Riverside
RIVERSIDE (CBS) — Police are searching for two armed home-invasion robbers who targeted a residence in Riverside and stole both a car and a wallet, the Riverside Police Department reported.
The robbery was reported around 9:30 a.m. at a house in the 3900 block of Larchwood Place, authorities said.
"Two Hispanic males entered the house, one pulled out a gun, took the guy's wallet and car keys, then stole the car," Lt. Andy Flores of the Riverside Police Department said. "This wasn't random. These people are known and we're working on some leads."
The victim and suspects were acquaintances, he said.
The suspects, described as two Hispanic males in their early 20s, sped off in the stolen 2010 Hyundai Sonata.
