Hit-And-Run Driver Kills Man In Whittier Crosswalk
WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — Police are trying to find out what caused a car crash that killed a pedestrian Saturday morning.
It happened shortly after 10 a.m. on Broadway and Washington Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs, according to Whittier police.
Police say a driver hit a man as he was walking northbound in the crosswalk.
That victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Police say they're still investigating and haven't released the victim's name.
