Batt. Chief Anthony Marrone of Los Angeles County Fire told Rachel Kim, reporting for CBS2 at 11 p.m., that two to three hundred additional firefighters are expected to be on call Sunday to meet the wildfire danger.
Marrone urged residents to be vigilant around their homes.
"We want people to make sure that there is access to their property, keeping the streets clear. We ask that people will not smoke in the mountainous areas. Be cautious when you're cutting your lawn or you're weed-wiping, we don't want you to use medal blade," he added.
Starting at 8 a.m., parking restrictions will be in place along hillside roads to allow fire crews access. Those restrictions will remain in effect through Monday.
Meantime, fire officials are also reminding residents that high winds can also cause downed power lines, flying debris and may pose a danger to high-profile vehicles.
