Hemet Woman Assaulted, Robbed In Home Invasion By 2 Males
HEMET (CBS) — A Hemet woman says she was assaulted by two male intruders Saturday morning, according to a police report.
The invasion robbery was reported at 12:41 a.m. in the 1800 block of Silver Oak Way in Hemet's Seven Hills community, police said.
Authorities were seeking the suspects described as black males of unknown ages, the report said.
The homeowner says the men took two televisions and jewelry.
"We are very concerned whenever an occupied residence is burglarized," said Hemet Police Chief Dave Brown. "The assault makes this case even more important to us, and we will use every available resource to identify and apprehend these suspects.
"In the meantime, we are asking for our community's help in reporting any activity that is out of place. Don't hesitate to call the police."
