Half-Acre Brush Fire Quickly Extinguished In Beverly Hills
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A half-acre fire burned northwest of Beverly Hills for nearly 45 minutes Monday before being extinguished by firefighters.
No structures were damaged in the blaze which ignited at 10102 Angelo View Drive, according to Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews were called to the scene at 6:42 p.m. and found the fire burning in light brush, Spence said.
More than 60 firefighters were able to get the brusher quickly under control because of the mild temperature and the absence of wind, Spence said.
