'Gumby' Pleads Guilty To Botched Robbery At 7-Eleven
SAN DIEGO (CBS) — Gumby has now plead guilty in his botched hold-up at a San Diego 7-Eleven.
Jacob Kiss walked into the convenience store and demanded money. But the clerk thought it was a joke and told Kiss, and his friend who tagged along, to get out.
The incident was caught by a surveillance camera and posted on various news outlets.
Shortly thereafter, Kiss turned himself in and told police it was just a prank.
Police charged the would-be robber and his accomplice with misdemeanor burglary. Both plead guilty and have been placed on three years probation.
