The LA hills are filled with the workers from the Hollywood studios. When a holiday involves pyrotechnics, it makes sense that the studio special effects department will be skilled at creating those special explosions to perform on cue. CBS will be putting on their annual Fourth of July Fireworks Festival again this year featuring fireworks, music from a Beatles tribute band, as well as an incredible car show from the Television and Motion Picture Car Club. Magicians will also be on hand from the Magic Castle as well as mouth watering food and a fireworks display which is sure to amaze. The gate will close at 8pm in time for the fireworks show which should start around 9 so make sure to get there early and enjoy the night! Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children through the Studio City Chamber of Commerce or by calling (818) 655-5916. Special rooftop viewing is also available for extra an $20.

As one of Los Angeles' premier entertainment destinations since 1922, it's no surprise that The Hollywood Bowl puts on one of the most unique and spectacular firework shows for America's birthday. This year, the Los Angeles Philharmonic will perform with Sarah Hicks conducting. Following that, the amazing talent of Smokey Robinson will entertain the crowd with his long list of Motown hits. At 9pm, a most memorable fireworks display will be held over the stage to amaze and excite the crowd. If you've never attended The Bowl on Independence Day, you're in for a special treat.

The concert stage will have a long list of performers, and over 20 different vendors selling all kinds of delicious food will entice you with their many selections. Starting at 9pm, a 20 minute fireworks display will amaze and delight fans. Make sure to get there early to grab a great spot and picnic too!

Founded in 1872, Exposition Park is an LA premier visitors center and a central hub for inner city culture. With several museums including Natural History Museum, a beautiful and vast rose garden, The Coliseum sports arena and centers for learning, including the USC campus, this park is packed with activity and people on Independence Day. Live DJ music and stage performances from California African American Museum can be seen on Christmas Tree Lane. Bring a picnic basket and lay out your party on the lawn.

Billed as the largest fireworks show in Los Angeles, join thousands of locals as they celebrate the 4th of July at Americafest at the Rose Bowl. The elaborate festival begins at 2pm and will be an all day affair featuring special musical performances by the Grammy Nominated Liverpool Legends and others, motorcycle stunts, a presentation of the colors and the national anthem, as well as the largest fireworks show in Southern California produced by Pyrospectaculars by Souza. The fireworks show will begin at 9pm.
