LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Governor Jerry Brown is home recovering from a procedure to remove a cancerous growth on the side of his nose.
The Governor's office says all the cancerous cells were removed from the right side of his nose Saturday and some reconstructive surgery was required.
Doctors said it was the least dangerous form of cancer.
The governor won't go to any public events until his stitches come out.
