Report: Dodgers, Red Sox Agree On Blockbuster Trade To Bring Adrian Gonzalez To LA
LOS ANGELES (CBS) The blockbuster trade has been agreed upon between the Dodgers and Red Sox, according to Fox Sports.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will send first-baseman James Loney, right-handed pitcher Rubby De La Rosa, outfielders Jerry Sands, Ivan De Jesus and Allen Webster to Boston in exchange for first-baseman Adrian Gonzalez, pitcher Josh Beckett, outfielder Carl Crawford and utility player Nick Punto.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will have to pick up his salary of $21-million per year until 2017.
Both James Loney and Adrian Gonzalez were scratched within minutes before their games.
