Going Somewhere? Don't Forget These Weekend Freeway Closures
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three partial freeway closures will affect Southland drivers this weekend.
The 101 Freeway will be partially closed between Glendale and Cahuenga boulevards in the Echo Park area between midnight and 5 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday for re-paving. According to Caltrans, the freeway will be closed in small sections, affecting only one direction at a time.
The westbound 91 Freeway in Corona will be shut down between Maple Street and Auto Center Drive at 10:30 p.m. to allow crews to finish demolishing a bridge. Drivers will be diverted onto a detour. The westbound 91 will reopen Sunday at noon.
The last weekend of what's being called "RoseJam" begins at 7 p.m. Saturday night when the eastbound 210 Freeway will be completely shut down between Mountain Street and Lake Avenue in Pasadena for 34 hours.
