Gary Sinise And The Lt. Dan Band Honor Servicemembers In Concert
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The cast and crew of CSI:NY are being treated to a special performance Friday night by one of their own cast members.
Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band will be performing on the CBS Studios lot.
Sinise created the group in the late 1990's after starring "Forrest Gump" as Lt. Dan Taylor. The band travels around the world, performing for troops. The Lt. Dan Band has completed more than 40 USO tours and numerous charity concerts.
The Lt. Dan Band will be performing Sunday night in Agoura Hills at the Canyon Club in honor of Army Specialist A.J. Castro. Castro, 20, was killed in action while serving in Afghanistan.
