Gang Of 4 Busted In O.C. Burglary Ring
CYPRESS, Calif. (CBS) — Officials in Orange County Wednesday said they busted a four-man burglary ring that has been working throughout Cypress and area cities for several months.
Police on Tuesday arrested the four men, including twin brothers.
The arrested men were identified as Jeremiah Andrew Norwood, 21, of Corona, his twin Jonathan Anthony Norwood, 21, of Corona, Raphael Jared Scally, 24, of Perris, and Darryl Da Keis Gillard, 24, of Perris, on suspicion of burglary, Sgt. Tom Bruce said.
They were arrested after serving search warrants in Moreno Valley in Riverside County, Bruce said.
Cypress investigators recovered what they suspect is $100,000 in stolen property from victims in Cypress, Anaheim and other Orange County cities, Bruce said. Items recovered include jewelry, laptop computers, television sets, foreign currency and guns, Bruce said.
Some of the property has been linked to the Cypress break-ins, but not all of the victims have been found, Bruce said.
Investigators asked anyone who believes they lost property in a burglary in Orange County over the past several months to call investigators at (714)229-6631.
Jeremiah Norwood was being held in an Orange County jail without bail, but $50,000 bail was set for Jonathan Norwood, Scally and Gillard, according to jail records.
