Gang Member Charged With Raping His Girlfriend's Daughter, 14
LANCASTER (AP) — A gang member charged with raping his girlfriend's 14-year-old daughter in Palmdale is scheduled to appear in court.
Christopher Cain, 41, is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday. He remains jailed on early $1.7 million bail.
Cain is accused of raping the girl in July at her Palmdale home after using a ruse to persuade her to let him tie her up.
Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Dan Scott tells City News Service that DNA found at the scene was matched to Cain earlier this month.
Scott says Cain was arrested Thursday after a two-mile chase during which his car overturned, he ran and fought with deputies.
