Galaxy's Beckham Makes Latest Cut For London Olympics
LOS ANGELES (CBS) - LA Galaxy's David Beckham has made the latest cut to represent Britain for this summer's London Olympics.
Coach Stuart Pearce eliminated 30 players from the 110-player pool who have a shot to make the final 18-man roster that will be selected in June.
Beckham, who will be 37 in June, has made 115 international appearance for England.
The International Olympic Committee will allow three players over the age of 23.
If Beckham does make the final 18, he will be one of the oldest Olympians to play soccer.
