Fullerton Falls In Pocatello, 84-79

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Broderick Gilchrest scored 29 points, including six 3-pointers, as Idaho State held on for an 84-79 victory over Cal State-Fullerton in a BracketBusters game Saturday.

Idaho State (9-17), which had 12 3-pointers in the game, opened the second half on a 15-6 run to build a 55-38 lead.

Cal-State Fullerton (9-18), led by Devon Peltier's 32 points, used an 11-0 run to cut the lead to 71-67 with 4 minutes remaining.

The Titans got within three points with 52 seconds left before Idaho State closed the game at the free-throw line.

Phyllip Taylor added 14 points and Deividas Busma and Kenny McGowen scored 11 each for Idaho State.

Orane Chin had 13 points and eight rebounds for Fullerton, which lost its fourth straight game and is 2-14 away from Titan Gym this season. Jer'Vaughn Johnson added 12 points and Andre Hardy 10.
