'Friday', 'It's Thanksgiving' Producer Releases New Viral Video 'Chinese Food'
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — It's not Friday or even Thanksgiving, but another Patrice Wilson production, this time about Chinese food, has gone viral.
Wilson, CEO and President of Pato Music World (PMW) Live, posted Alison Gold's "Chinese Food" Monday, which now has more than 1 million views on YouTube, more than 15,000 dislikes and 3,000 likes.
The tween sings about how much she likes various Chinese dishes after she "goes clubbin."
"I love Chinese food. You know that it's true. I love fried rice, I love noodles, I love chow mein, chow m-m-m-mein," she sings.
Patrice Wilson co-founded Ark Music Factory, a Los Angeles-based production company "for discovering new talent and new tastemakers," according to its website.
Wilson is also responsible for Rebecca Black's infamous song "Friday", Nicole Westbrook's song "It's Thanksgiving" and various others.
The Nigerian singer and songwriter starred in all three of the videos and dressed up as Gold's new friend, a panda, in "Chinese Food".
Similar to other Wilson-produced songs, the song has gotten major backlash on Twitter.
Black, who was 13 years old when "Friday" was released, received multiple death threats and was forced to leave her Anaheim school after she experienced excessive bullying.
