Freeze Warning Issued For Antelope Valley
LANCASTER (AP) — A widespread freeze warning is in the forecast for the high desert Antelope Valley north of Los Angeles.
The National Weather Service says the warning will be in effect Thursday from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., including the cities of Lancaster and Palmdale.
Meteorologists say the freeze will be caused by the combination of cool air behind this week's storm system and expected light winds.
Temperatures are expected to fall to between 29 degrees and 32 degrees for a few hours across the valley floor. Some locations may be colder.
