Four hospitalized after fight turns into stabbing in Whittier

Four men were hospitalized after a fight escalated into a stabbing in Whittier early Sunday morning. 

Police were called to the 7000 block of Greenleaf Avenue at around 12:45 a.m. after learning of a fight with "numerous individuals involved," according to a Facebook post from the Whittier Police Department. 

Upon arrival, they found four men suffering from stab wounds. They were all taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately known. 

Police did not release information on a suspect or suspects involved and have not yet reported any arrests. 

It's unknown what caused the fight to break out.
