Former Laker Facing Drug Charges In Arizona
(CBS) -- Former Los Angeles Laker Samaki Walker is facing drug charges after authorities found one gram of marijuana, 259 prescription pills and numerous bottles of an unknown liquid in his car after a traffic stop in Arizona.
The 35-year-old who resides in Woodland Hills, has been playing professional basketball in Syria, China and Russia in recent years.
He was a member of the 2001-2002 Lakers team that won the NBA championship.
