Former 'Big Brother' Contestant Faces 20 Years In Prison After Pleading Guilty To Drug Charge

LOS ANGELES (CBS) —  "Big Brother 9" houseguest Matt McDonald pleaded guilty to drug charges Tuesday and now the former reality star faces 20 years in prison.

McDonald pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute Oxycodone.

He worked as part of a drug ring with "BB9" winner Adam Jasinski.

McDonald will be sentenced in April. According to wire reports, he faces 20 years in prison and as much as a $1 million fine.

Jasinski was scheduled to be sentenced today.

McDonald also faces assault charges after he was arrested for allegedly punching and choking his pregnant girlfriend. McDonald was also accused in 2009 of trying to intimidate and harass his girlfriend from being a potential witness.

Jasinski was said to be the drug distribution mastermind. He admitted to spending a lot of his $500,000 cash prize on the drugs.

He originally pleaded not guilty but changed his plea to guilty with intent to distribute. As part of his deal, he was ordered into drug rehab last spring.
