Flowers To Be Placed On Larry Hagman's Hollywood WOF Star
HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is expected to place flowers on the Hollywood Walk of Fame star of late "Dallas" star Larry Hagman, a spokesman announced Saturday.
The flowers are expected to be placed at 1 p.m. on Hagman's star at 1560 North Vine Street which sits near that of his late mother, Mary Martin.
Martin, known for her roles in "South Pacific" and "Peter Pan," died in 1990. Hagman received the star in 1981 as his hit series "Dallas" captivated much of the world.
The 81-year-old actor had spent Thanksgiving with his family and friends and died Friday surrounded by loved ones after losing his battle with cancer.
He was in Texas shooting the sequel to his '80s hit series, "Dallas" airing on TNT. The show's second season was scheduled to begin airing in January.
"We're saddened at the news of Larry Hagman's passing. He was a wondering human & a gifted actor. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family," @Dallas_TNT tweeted Friday.
