Fleeing Felon Found On Roof Of Huntington Beach Home
MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Officials said they arrested a felon on the roof of a Manhattan Beach home Wednesday after the man fled his vehicle during a traffic stop.
Police made a traffic stop just before 2 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
During the stop, police said the driver -- identified as Wiley Venoy Robinson, 33, of Los Angeles -- ran into a residential neighborhood.
Officials set up a perimeter search employing K-9 officers from the Hawthorne, El Segundo and Redondo Beach Police Departments.
Robinson was eventually located on the roof of a home located in the 600 block of Ninth Street.
Robinson was booked for outstanding felony warrants as well as resisting arrest through threats or violence and obstructing/delaying an officer.
He was being held in lieu of $211,000 bail, police said.
