Fisherman Catches Drone Flying Over San Diego Pier
SAN DIEGO (CBSLA.com) — An unusual catch was recently made by one fisherman in San Diego.
On Thursday, a man noticed he was being watched by a drone flying overhead while he fished off the pier in Pacific Beach.
Instead of continuing to cast his rod into the ocean, the fisherman decided to try fly fishing for the drone.
Video that was posted to YouTube on Friday shows the man cast his line into the drone, which appeared to then struggle after becoming attached to the fishing line.
He was able to hook the drone, however, the fishing line got tangled up in the rotor.
The pilot of the drone was able to fly it back home.
