Fisher Leaves Game With Elbow Injury
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Charlotte Bobcats guard Stephen Jackson and Los Angeles Lakers guard Derek Fisher have been sidelined with injuries.
Neither player was expected to return to Friday night's game.
Fisher went to the Los Angeles locker room after bending his left elbow awkwardly in a tussle for a rebound with Charlotte's Kwame Brown. Fisher rolled on the court in pain before walking to the locker room with a sprained left elbow.
The Lakers' captain has played in 476 consecutive games, the NBA's longest active streak. Fisher had two points and two assists.
Jackson was sidelined by a strained left hamstring in the third quarter. He had eight points and two rebounds.
