Firefighters Knock Down Small Brush Fire In Eagle Rock

EAGLE ROCK (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters quickly got a handle on a brush fire that scorched a quarter-acre of grass on the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway in Eagle Rock.

Brian Humphrey, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, says the small fire broke out about 2:10 p.m. Saturday on the south side of the freeway just east of the Glendale (2) Freeway.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, according to Humphrey.
