Firefighters Knock Down Blaze At West LA Restaurant
WEST LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Monday knocked down a blaze at a restaurant in West Los Angeles.
Shawn Lenske, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, says it took 39 firefighters 22 minutes to put out the blaze in the 11400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard.
"Los Angeles City Fire was called out to the Dolores Restaurant on Santa Monica Boulevard," said Stu Mundel, reporting for CBS2 and KCAL9.
Said Mundel, "while they are conducting their final mop up of this fire, Santa Monica will be closed between Butler and Kurent."
No injuries were reported.
Lenske says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
