Fire Wreaks Havoc At Recording Studio In Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD (CBS) - A fire broke out at a Hollywood recording studio Monday night, authorities reported.
The blaze ignited at 1041 Production Studios on North Orange Drive, near Santa Monica Boulevard, at approximately 7 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Matt Spence said.
About 70 firefighters were needed to put out the fire, which was extinguished in less than 20 minutes, but not before wreaking havoc on the structure.
No injuries were reported.
A number of well-known artists have recorded at the location, including Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, The Beach Boys, U2 and Marilyn Manson.
