Fire Tears Through San Pedro Homes
SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) — A fire broke out Friday afternoon at two homes in San Pedro.
It was reported around 5 p.m. in the 700 block of West Oliver Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department reports.
The dry winds and vegetation in the area made it difficult to knock down the flames, but crews said they were gaining the upper hand.
No injuries or evacuations were reported.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames before they spread to other structures.
