Fire Reported At Dodger Stadium In Top Deck Storage Area
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A small fire was reported Saturday evening in the upper deck of Dodgers Stadium.
There were no reports of injuries.
Some fans in the top deck section where evacuated while firefighters extinguished the blaze.
No word on the extent of the damage or the cause of the fire.
Reports from the scene said there was a "moderate" amount of smoke.
StreetTeam Member Keith Ogren sent KCAL9 video from the upper deck and section N.
Jeff Nguyen reported live from the scene for KCAL9 and said the fire was quickly brought under control. He said it took 41 firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the fire.
He also reported the fire started in a storage area "mostly containing paper products."
The game between the Dodgers and Marlins continued without incident.
