Fire Ignites At Abandoned School In Van Nuys
VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — The attic of a vacant school reportedly caught fire Saturday in Van Nuys.
Firefighters responded at 11:12 a.m. to 14111 Sherman Way, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.
The blaze was knocked down at 11:55 a.m., Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported.
The structure once housed the Pinecrest School but is slated for demolition.
Officials did not say what could have caused the fire.
