Fire Burns Perilously Close To Inland Empire Skating Rink
GRAND TERRACE (CBSLA.com) — Flames burned dangerously close to a skating rink in Grand Terrace.
Crews were called shortly before 6 p.m. Monday to a landscape company on Barton Road near Commerce Way, San Bernardino County Fire reported.
Initially, it was reported that Calskate Grand Terrace skating rink was on fire. Officials later clarified that the flames were tearing through the landscaping business' walls, leaving it on the verge of collapse.
Firefighters worked to contain the blaze and keep the skating rink nearby from catching fire.
There was no word of injuries.
